Hey there!
My name is Kelci Graper. My friend Wayne and I are on a backpacking journey throughout Central America right now and are very drawn to Shantivan Farm. We´re currently in Utila, Honduras and will be making our way down south to Costa Rica in the next couple of days. We are both very open minded, easy going, spiritual individuals. We´re looking to be a part of a self sustaining, spiritually centered eco village or farm and your farm looks absolutely beautiful. If you have space available for volunteers, we´d love to help out any way we can. We can commit to a one month stay and perhaps longer if the help is needed. Look forward to hearing from you. Have a beautiful day!

Dear Shantivan Farm,

My name is Harry, am a 23-year old physicist, and I am extremely interested in your farm. I am currently meditating 20 minutes per day and and would like to hone my spiritual practice in your ashram. Also, given the ongoing climate crisis, I would like to gain experience with organic farming that revolves around healing the earth.

I have worked many hours in my parent's organic farm planting, picking, spreading manure, and such.

I am looking to work for a month that falls some time between the end of June and the middle of August and am really willing to throw myself into the work! Do you think there might be a position for me?

Thank you,

Harry

Hi there, my name is Trent. I am 20 years old, and I am finishing school soon. I am traveling to Costa Rica on may 15th, in hopes to do some farming and meet some wonderful people. Your community and farming seem wonderful at the shantivan farm. I have been practicing bhakti yoga the past six months, and have been attending the Iskcon temple in denver, and I love the practice and warm community. I was wondering if I would possibly be able to stay on your farm and volunteer until my family arrives in Costa Rica on July 2nd - so I would be able to stay with you guys from may 15th- july 2nd. Please let me know if you think this would work out, I am thrilled that I found your farm!
thanks a lot, Trent

Helo, my name is Eva I have been called by the beauty full country of Costa Rica in my travels within and without. Searching for a spiritual space to dedicate approximately between one and two months for my spiritual growth and offer my self for service, I came across you page. It filled me with joy to know there is such a place to continue my ongoing transformation and also where one can participate in such a community. I am starting my journey the 14th of March, and would like to come visit and if possible incorporate myself in the flowing river of activities at all levels that take place in the community. I look forward to dig deep in the personal work and in the learning and exchange of teachings and methods to do so, and contribute to everyone´s growth both within and without.

I would like to know if I am welcome, and offer myself as a volunteer in service of nature and spirit.

Hello!
My partner, John, and I are very interested in volunteering during the months of October and/or November if you have availability. We are intrigued by your ashram and lifestyle and think that we would be a great match for you. John and I are both school teachers and are hoping to work with a garden or ashram like yours in order to reconnect with the earth and learn about Costa Rica first hand. We are planning to live in Costa Rica for awhile and want to start off by getting to know the landscape and helping out in gardens or healing centers. John speaks Spanish fluently and I am currently improving my grasp of the language. We have experience working on organic farms and are passionate about organic, sustainable agriculture. We are both daily meditators, and Deanna taught Pilates and yoga classes for 3 years and plans to become certified in yoga during this year. We are both energetic, dependable, cooperative and easy-going, and love to explore nature and meet new people from different cultures. I believe we would be a perfect fit for this reason alone and would love to stay with you and help you on your mission.

Please let us know if you have any questions and hopefully we'll see you in October :)

Thank you,
Deanna

My name is Sara Syed and I found your farm while searching for ashrams in Central America. My boyfriend and I are planning to backpack throughout Central America this summer and will be in Costa Rica near or during August. We visited Costa Rica last summer for my 200hr yoga teacher training and my spirit fell in love with the country!

Can you please tell me more about your ashram? We are already planning on volunteering at some animal shelters and at some local schools throughout Central America during our trip. We love to help, learn, grow, and share. We would love an opportunity to learn and grow with your farm if you need the help. My boyfriend and I are both vegetarian/vegan and we have interest in meditation, yoga, healthy living, sustainability and healthy living.

I look forward to hearing more about your ashram and farm!

Thank you so much for any information.

Hello!

I would love to do work exchange and live/work in your beautiful and quite magical looking sustainable community/Eco Yoga Ashram if the opportunity is still there. I have been yearning to live in community and work on sustainable projects together, as well as other creative projects, art, yoga, and food (cooking together, sharing meals, etc). I have worked on a handful of different organic farms and in an herb garden, as well as keeping a vegetable garden in the backyard of my home. I really want to merge work with home life, combining the two so they are integrated.

A bit about me:
I recently graduated from the California College of Ayurveda and love all things involving health and wellness. I am an Ayurvedic practitioner and body therapist. I also completed a 9 month herbalism course and love to make medicated oils, salves, and many other forms of herbal medicine. I love yoga and practice on a very consistent basis, as it feels essential for balancing my internal world and well as my external experience! I also got a degree in Art--specifically painting and fiber arts and love all things creative. I am looking to plug into a community of like minded people and after reading your website, I am so inspired by you all!

If I sound like a good fit for your community, please let me know!
I look forward to hearing from you.
With love,
Hillary
